MAEDA Corporation is proactively adopting cutting-edge technologies to transform itself from a traditional construction company that undertakes comprehensive construction to a "total infrastructure service company" that integrates new services.
On Thursday, January 24, 2024, the first "Engineers' Meetup" was held by MAEDA Corporation, with the participation of AsiaQuest engineers who are currently participating in the company's internal projects.
■Purpose of the Engineers' Meetup
- MAEDA Corporation engineers and engineers from outside vendors such as AsiaQuest Co., Ltd. will be able to interact with each other and learn about different cultures to make it easier to work with each other.
- We will explore themes for Kaggle, hackathon, OSS development, etc. in the future.
- We expect to develop into joint development, PoC, and commercialization.

As this was the memorable first meeting, each member gave a lightning talk (LT) to introduce himself/herself, which was followed by comments and questions from other members to deepen exchanges.
The event ended on a high note, with participants sharing topics of conversation that are unique to members who are in contact with the latest technologies, including AI, in their daily work and private lives.
This meetup will be held as a series in the future.
