Conducting training aimed at improving the skills of project managers

Supportas Inc. is a company that supports the business development of its clients by integrating various IT and human solutions. AsiaQuest conducted a training course for project managers (hereinafter "PM") at Supportas, aiming to improve their skills to lead projects to success. We provided total support throughout the entire process, from interviews to curriculum design and on-the-day training.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE

Supportas Inc. was concerned about the importance of achieving a higher level of project management due to the increase in the number of projects handled per PM.

AsiaQuest had a wealth of experience in project execution, so they consulted with us. After listening to and carefully examining the various issues in project management, we made a proposal to implement a project management training program to improve the skills of the PMs.

ROLE

AsiaQuest conducted on-site interviews at Supportas' site, and through close communication with each PM, gained an understanding of the issues at the site and the characteristics of Supportas' projects. Based on this information, we designed a training curriculum and provided full support for the day of training. By combining classroom lectures with exercises using actual projects as examples, we ensured that participants were able to acquire more practical skills.


This training was conducted four times in total, with approximately 30 participants, including PMs, sales staff, and managers. Focusing not only on systematic knowledge but also on the mindset required for successful project execution, the training emphasized the importance of considering customer needs and business goals and executing projects to achieve them.

BRAND EXPERIENCE

The project management concepts and terminology acquired through the training are now actively shared within Supportas Inc.. Participants are actively applying the knowledge they have acquired to solve problems in their actual project.

AsiaQuest will continue to work closely with our clients to provide the best solutions to their challenges. In addition to system development, we will strengthen our support in resolving issues throughout the business.

After the training, we were able to use technical terminology related to projects as a common language, and internal meetings and project conferences were able to run smoothly. In addition, few members had previously learned the role of a project manager in a systematic way, and by being able to share basic knowledge, they were able to make decisions based on the knowledge they had learned through their own training regarding the management required for. As a result, management has fewer opportunities to intervene in projects and is now able to focus on other measures.
