Reinforces IT development system for practical application of advanced technologies such as AI in the auto loan market

AQ Business Consulting Indonesia (Head Office: Jakarta, Indonesia; Representative Director: Edy Susanto; hereinafter "AQI") has formed a strategic partnership with PT. AQI is a strategic partner of PT. Dipo Star Finance (a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, hereinafter referred to as DSF) and PT. Berlian Sistem Informasi (a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, hereinafter referred to as BSI) in their joint project to operate an IT development center.
■ Proactive use of advanced technologies such as AI and image recognition to improve customer satisfaction
In Indonesia, competition in the auto loan market provided by DSF is intensifying as aggregate demand for automobiles grows. In order to further enhance its high presence in the industry, it is essential to further improve customer satisfaction by, for example, completing loan approval more quickly than before while maintaining accuracy.
To this end, DSF, in collaboration with BSI, began operating an IT development center in Yogyakarta, where AQI is based, to strengthen its ability to apply advanced technologies such as AI and image recognition, and held an opening ceremony on November 15, 2018.
■ Further strengthening the workforce in 2019
DSF intends to further strengthen its IT development efforts and plans to expand the headcount at the IT Development Center during 2019. The two companies will work together to build an attractive environment for curious and highly motivated engineers and create a system that will enable the prompt delivery of higher quality systems while enhancing technical capabilities. As mentioned above, the IT Development Center plans to actively engage in the application of advanced technologies and new development methods.
